Coalition for Americans Press Release

11/07/2018 – Alexandria, VA – The Coalition for American Veterans Political Action Committee congratulated Congressman Brian Mast (FL-18) on his reelection to Congress after CAV spent $20,100 in the closing weeks of the campaign on a targeted mail and digital media effort to showcase his commitment to veterans issues.

Mast, a veteran himself, represents southeast Florida, including Port St. Lucie, north of Palm Beach.

Congressman Mast has proven himself to be a fighter for our country’s veterans, a true advocate for those who protected us by their service. Whether it was advocating for quality healthcare or housing, CAV knew it was critical that veterans and voters knew his strong record on these issues.

The CAV campaign was a multi-tiered voter education effort of direct mail and targeted digital ads on social media. The Coalition for American Veterans has four main goals when reaching out to the public and supporting candidates for elected office. First is to build a grassroots base of support to ensure elected officials protect our veterans when they come home. The second is to ensure veterans and future veterans do not lose their rights and freedoms. And last, is rally and support candidates that are supportive of our veterans and force those who aren’t supportive, out of office. Finally, to support veterans who are running for elected office.

CAV also ran independent expenditure campaigns for Mike Coffman (CO-6), Andy Barr (KY-6), and Chip Roy (TX-21).
