Veterans, the greatest Geo-Political challenge facing the American people in 2020 and beyond is the ascendance of the Communist Chinese Party in the Global arena. Just a few decades ago, China was an anemic 3rd world country, which killed tens of millions of its own citizens through failed Communist economic planning. Today, they are rivaled only by the United States. And the gap is shrinking. The expansion of Chinese influence and power is the direct result of politicians like Joe Biden.

Today it is no secret that the Communist Chinese dictatorship is attempting to hijack global trade. There is no limit to the level of coercion and corruption that they have gone to: Forced partnerships with foreign companies looking for access to the Chinese market, the theft of Intellectual Property, and a network of job stealing slave labor supply chains undercutting all competition.

As noted in an article written by Senator Tom Cotton for National Review, Joe Biden was all too happy to see China through its watershed moment: Induction into the World Trade Organization in the 1990’s under “Favored Nation Status.” Despite bi-partisan concern for the Human Rights abuses of the Communist dictatorship, “Wherever a brake might have been applied — by placing human-rights or labor conditions on most-favored-nation status, for example — Biden voted the measures down and lobbied other senators for Beijing.” The predatory behavior of China has never bothered Biden, or his son Hunter, in fact according to Biden the rise of China is a “positive development” for the American people.

Despite ample evidence of Chinese abuses Joe Biden has continuously defended them on the world stage. It’s almost like he has a personal interest in their success. The evidence suggests that he does. President Donald Trump and others have criticized Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, who for many years now has had self-serving financial interests in Chinese entities.  As pointed out by The New York Post, “In 2013, then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Less than two weeks later, Hunter Biden’s firm inked a $1 billion private equity deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. The deal was later expanded to $1.5 billion.” When Joe Biden says the rise of China is a “positive development,” he really means it’s the proverbial Golden Goose for him and his family.

When the emergence of Covid-19 spread into a world-wide pandemic, surely Joe Biden would have put aside his self-enriching cheerleading of China. The health, lives, and livelihoods of his fellow Americans must have taken precedent. Not so much. When it became clear that the Virus was not going to be contained, President Donald Trump took decisive action to ban incoming travel from China. Leftwing politicians from Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, to Mayor Marty Walsh in Boston, seized on the opportunity to frame the President, once again, as a racist. The policy, after all, was the perfect opportunity for a few photo-ops in their local China Town neighborhoods.

And Joe Biden wasn’t far behind. Despite claiming throughout the summer that his magical plan to manage the government response would have saved thousands of lives, he also called the China ban “nakedly xenophobic.” The Hill covered Biden’s race-baiting attack on the President, where Biden said, “The pandemic has unleashed familiar forces of hate, fear and xenophobia that he always flames … that have always existed in this society.” Joe Biden had the superior pandemic response plan that included pumping unknown numbers of infected Chinese citizens into our population. Great for China, terrible for America.

The existential threat that China poses to America, and frankly, the rest of the world has been brought to the forefront of American politics because President Donald Trump forcefully brought it front and center. For years, while Biden placated and benefited from Chinese criminality, Donald Trump condemned them. Now that their ruthless tactics and destructive influence on our economy can’t be ignored, Joe Biden must answer for his cozy relationship with the communists. He will pay lip service to the need to contain them, but his record speaks for itself. Joe Biden is good for China. Donald Trump is good for America.

Coalition for American Veterans

Coalition for American Veterans was founded by a group of citizens concerned with the treatment our veterans have received since returning from duty, going months and years without seeing their families and risking their lives, only to come home to politicians that do not support them.
