Access to COVID-19 Vaccinations is a hot topic and a recent article in Forbes Magazine highlighted the Veterans Administration is working to make sure that veterans who want to get the COVID-19 vaccine are able to get it. The article noted that millions of vaccine doses are being given to millions of “veterans, VA employees, health care workers, and support personnel.” The VA is even helping administer vaccines to the Department of Homeland Security.

It is important to keep the current administration accountable, and it is important to keep the Veterans Administration accountable. The VA improved a great deal under the previous President, with the uprooting of corrupt officials and a vast improvement in health care delivery. Veterans want those improvements to be maintained.

The previous administration’s Operation Warp Speed fast-tracked the development of vaccines. This was a remarkable and historic achievement, giving the current administration quite a head start on the VA’s current vaccine delivery program.

The Veterans Administration website has a section where the number of vaccinations and other statistics related to COVID-19 and the vaccine are available. This could prove a useful resource for tracking the progress of the VA and keeping its leadership accountable.

Coalition for American Veterans was founded by a group of citizens concerned with the treatment our veterans have received since returning from duty, going months and years without seeing their families and risking their lives, only to come home to politicians that do not support them.
